Fluke 660T Frame Relay Installation Assistant Kit with 660M-T1 T1 Frame Relay Module Comes with what you see in the pictures. If you don't see it, you probably wont get it. Specifications are from Fluke and may vary slightly due to upgrades, options, or revisions this unit may or may not have. The unit is guaranteed to work with a 30-day warranty excluding the battery. List Price is: $5,395.00 NEW Product Capabilities Fluke Networks' 660 Frame Relay Installation Assistant automatically determines frame relay and line configurations, provides a one-button AutoTest to replace multiple-step provisioning procedures, and enables the frontline technician to run IP tests with no prior knowledge of IP technology. Technicians can use the 660 to emulate Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) prior to installation to determine whether a frame relay service is ready for use. The tester can also emulate a Service Provider's Network (NET) to confirm that an access device such as a router or FRAD is configured correctly. The 660 can also be used as a basic troubleshooting test tool to monitor in-service links. Automation Ensures Ease of Use The 660 runs all critical tests automatically and provides pass/fail results that indicate whether the circuit being tested meets the test standards specified for the service. The following automated features simplify the test process: LINE AutoConfigure enables the 660 to automatically discover transmission line configuration parameters for the circuit under test to minimize setup time. Frame Relay AutoConfigure determines frame relay parameter types such as emulation, Local Management Interface (LMI), and encapsulation. AutoTest enables technicians-with the press of one button-to verify the physical line, establish connection to the frame relay network, verify that the correct DLCIs have been provisioned, and prove IP layer connectivity to the far-end devices. Extensive IP Testing Capabilities The 660 uses inverse ARP on each DLCI to automatically identify IP PING target addresses as well as its own source IP address. Each discovered target is then PINGed to prove reliable IP connectivity and to determine the roundtrip propagation delay to each end point. Any Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) error messages received as a result of the PING attempts are displayed to the user. In addition, the test tool offers an optional Internetwork Throughput Test to measure IP traffic performance on any DLCI. To perform this test, the technician simply connects another 660 tester or a Fluke Networks OneTouch™ Network Assistant at the far-end, to send and receive IP traffic to measure circuit performance as traffic levels vary. A trial version is included with Version 2.0 Software. For more information on the 660 Internetwork Throughput Option, download the 660-ITO Data Sheet. Interface Modules simplify service turn-up and troubleshooting Two mainframe versions (660T and 660TE) and four optional interface adapters (DDS, T1/FT1, E1/FE1, and Serial*) are available for Fluke Networks' Frame Relay Installation Assistant. The interchangeable Interface Modules make it easy for technicians to go from installation to installation, simply changing adapters as necessary to accommodate different circuits. (* "Serial" includes V.35, X/21, RS530, RS-449/V.36, and RS-232/V.24) Monitors live frame circuits The T1, E1 and DDS Interface Modules come with a TAP box for in-line monitoring of live frame circuits. The 660 can monitor in-service circuits to locate problems and gather network statistics.
