Description

ITEM: Vintage Realistic DX-160 5 Band radio communications receiver. Short wave general coverage receiver, covering .535 to 30 Mhz . AM, SSB, CW. 10 Watts. Made in Japan, Serial Number 724967. Requires an external speaker with 1/4" RCA jack plug, speaker is not included. 0.535-30 MHz in 4 bands A: 0.535-1.6 MHz B: 1.55-4.5 MHz C: 4.5-13 MHz D: 13-30 MHz SIZE: Unit is approximately 14.25 x 7 x 9.5 inches . Weighs 14 lbs before packaging CONDITION: Tested and working. Dial and all knobs work properly. Normal cosmetic wear with some scratches and scuffs. Previous owner had etched their name onto the face plate, as pictured. Back dial light may be out, meter and band spread lights work. This unit was purchased as part of a large vintage electronics estate collection and has been in storage for years. We have tested this to the best of our abilities. WE ARE NOT RADIO EXPERTS, therefore, this unit has not been fully tested. The new owner may and could incur additional costs to get this unit in top working condition.
