StreetRays plates are CNC machined from Billet 6061 T6 Aluminum & our kit includes grade 10.9 hardware strictly to ensure that they won't fail you and the kit will make your LS1 engine swap just a bolt-on process. Furthermore, our adapter plates features a big recess (opening) CNC machined out of the center of the plate to clear the hump on the backside of your SBC or BBC motor mounts. These StreetRays (fixed position) plates will move your new LS motor 1 inch "forward" from the original SBC / BBC mount location, this location virtually eliminates 90% of clearance issues for exhaust headers, aftermarket oil pans, pumps & etc. Lastly, our plates will accept factory SBC or BBC motor mounts or most factory clam-shells.
Received new gasket in original package. Best price I could find! Small problem getting the right one, the part numbers were almost the same. The part was fine, the commution was good. The part wouldn't work on my truck, and that was not the seller or the parts fault, my truck simply didn't have enough stud length to accommodate the part. Product arrived in a ziplock bag with the Quick Fuel part number on a label not in the Quick Fuel package as shown in the sellers ad. Time will tell if the product is really of Quick Fuel quality. Sellers ad did not note any bulk packaging statements. I passed on other sellers for fear of poor quality gaskets. Would have given a 5 star review if it had been in Quick Fuel packaging.
