Item is for sale make an offer. Fresh picked item from a local western NC homeplace. This lamp base is marked " 1874 CFA Hinrichs " student lamp with 7" shade ring. The lamp base is in need of a little repair, but has great bones. I have the original 1870s hand painted floral shade listed separately from the base on Ebay right now. It's last picture This CFA HINRICHS brass lamp is adjustable, with a 7" shade ring that is missing 1 arm and 1 arm is loose. The burner is missing but has not been drilled. The removable tank looks to have not been drilled. The outer tank has some old soldier that is intact, I see no holes in the tank. The lamp slides up and down an it adjusts easy & freely. I took a lot of photos and the photos are part of the description. There are many measurements in the photos , so please view photos and ask questions if needed. This lamp is directly from a local old estate and has not been cleaned or messed with. It's just like I found it with original patina. If you were to buy the shade as well, I will not box them together because the shade is extremely fragile. Very thin glass. However I do charge exact shipping costs.
